KARACHI: Imran Khan added fuel to the fire by stating that Mutahida Qaumi Movement cheif Altaf Hussain was invited by the secret agency RAW in India. He further claimed that the corruption of the chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party is also coming out in public.
“Altaf Hussain went to India on an invitation by RAW,” said Imran Khan, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
MQM has been part of a controversy after a BBC report claimed that it received funding from Indian spy agency RAW to support terrorists and wreck havoc in Karachi.
Khan believes that the truth about Karachi is revealing. He added that the time has come when the party needs to stand together and whoever violates the party code of discipline will be fired from the party.
MQM rejected the allegations made in the story. Their statement added that this report is part of an ongoing media trial. The party believes in the ‘solidarity and stability’ of Pakistan.
According to the statement, the allegations are made by ‘Pakistani source’ which ultimately reveals the reality of the allegations.
The Indian government claimed the allegations as ‘baseless’. They also said that ‘shortcomings of governance cannot be rationalized by blaming neighbors’.
