KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday passed a new warrant for Mirza’s execution, Aaj News reported.
Former member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Saulat Mirza, on May 12 will be hanged in Machh Jail.
Mirza was scheduled to be executed on March 19 but hours before his death his confession video shook MQM, as he made allegations against MQM’s chief and other leadership. An appeal was made to delay his execution.
The President extended his execution orders for 72 hours, later it was extended till April 30.
A joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed to investigate Mirza’s allegations.
