KABUL: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif pledged to hunt down terrorist elements, and vowed that a peaceful Afghanistan is inevitable for the stability of region, Aaj News reported.
He was speaking at conference held in Kabul where he met the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
President Ghani said that Pakistan and Afghanistan both face the same dangers.
While addressing the media Sharif, said that Pakistan always stood by Afghanistan in the time of need. He also showed confidence that terrorism will be eradicated from its roots.
PM Sharif said that without eliminating extremism peace in the region cannot be achieved.
On this occasion Afghan President, added that terrorism has affected both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The delegation from Pakistan which was led by Sharif was welcomed and greeted by Afghan officials at Afghan presidential palace.
PM Sharif said that it was always a pleasure coming to Kabul.
