ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Monday said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif may act like a stranger in the house, moments after an election tribunal ordered re-election on Lahore’s NA-125 constituency, previously Saad Rafique from PML-N emerge victorious, Aaj News reported.
Imran Khan while addressing a press conference demanded that the Returning Officers (RO) and Polling Officers must be called up by the judicial commission investigating the rigging allegations in the general elections of 2013.
He further added that National Database and Regulatory authority (NADRA) is holding down the forensic reports of NA-122 on government’s pressure, according to the NADRA’s reports on an average each voter casted their votes six times in NA-125.
Khan regretted that the concerned authorities took two whole years to come to this conclusion.
On the other hand PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, who won the elections in 2013 from NA-125 called the tribunal decision for re-election an act of defiance against the rule of law.
