LAHORE: Pakistan won the second T20 match by two wickets with two balls remaining, Aaj News reported
In the second and final T20 match, Pakistani team clean swept the Zimbabwean team.
Zimbabwe won the toss and choose to bat first. With the lost of just three wickets the guests scored 175 runs in 20 overs.
SC Williams was the highest scorer from the Zimbabwe. He scored 58 runs from 32 balls.
In reply, team green kept loosing the wickets after regular intervals. Mukhtar Ahmed, was the only player who played a decent innings, he scored 62 runs from 40 balls.
Team green escaped a narrowly as they lost eight wickets while chasing the target, Bilawal Bhatti played the winning short when only two balls were left. Ahmed was declared man of the match and man of the series for his outclass batting performance.
Despite of this series win Waqar Younus, head coach of Pakistan team was not happy with the current performance of the team and hopes to improve the overall quality of the team in one day international series against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe will play three one day internationals series at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The series will start from May 26.
