ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Abdul Qadir Baloch Sunday said the chopper crash incident in Naltar was being probed by all possible aspects.
“Although, 99.9 per cent it was an accident but it is being probed thoroughly, keeping in view all aspects,” he said.
The minister was talking to PTV during his visit to Norwegian Embassy where he went to condole the death of Ambassador Leif Larsen in the incident with the staff.
“Accidents occur and people die in every part of the world but giving them wrong impression is unjustified,” he said, adding that those giving the accident false colour were in fact showing their narrow-mindedness.
He said he conveyed sentiments of the Pakistani nation to the aggrieved embassy staff, who were in state of shock over the tragic episode.
On Saturday, he said, Pakistan observed one-day mourning on the deaths of envoys and loss of other precious lives in the accident.
