WEB DESK: Most new born babies arrive between 8am to 6pm– suitable working hours for doctors.
A report published by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, unfolded that doctors might be involved in using Caesarean sections to line up births during working hours. The researchers came to the conclusion when they examined birth certificates from 41 states in the United States. Less than three percent of new born arrived from midnight to early morning.
Natural deliveries are observed during the morning. More babies are born between 3pm and 6pm period. Deliveries decline after 6pm.
On the weekends, babies are born late in the evening.
In the United Kingdom 25 percent of births take place by Cesarean Section. This method is performed because mothers over the age of 35 are most likely to meet complications, such as high-blood pressure, gestational diabetes, having a large baby and the baby left in a weird position in the womb.
