KARACHI: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s special plane took off from here on Wednesday to drop 11 Indian nationals in New Delhi.
The Indian citizens who were brought from war-torn Yemen by PNS ASLAT on Tuesday happily moved to their next destination saying many a time thanks
to Pakistan with ear to ear grin on their faces.
Indian Second Secretary in Indian High Commission Islamabad Prabhat Kumar Jain thanking Pakistan government said that Pakistan evacuated Indians
along with its own citizens from war-stricken Yemen which is commendable.
Before leaving for New Delhi, Indian national Ramesh said, “The crew of PNS ASLAT extraordinarily took care of us”.
He said that the crew ensured their well being and treated as guests.
Replying to a question he said that culturally the people of the both country were the same.
Ramesh said that it was his first time in Karachi, but he had worked with many Pakistanis abroad.
He also could not stop himself of talking of the ‘Biryani’ which was brought for him by his Pakistani friend, who travelled along with him from Yemen, on the occasion.
He thanked to the Pakistani government and its efforts for evacuation.
The two other Indian citizens also shared their views on Pakistani hospitality.
