ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi applauded the verdict of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to install the Rangers Paramilitary force to view the NA-246 by-elections, Aaj News reported.
According to Qureshi, the deployment of Rangers would ensure a free and fair election. He further added that the security forces should also patrol the area during the time of polls.
On a question related to the Judicial Commission to Inquire the alleged rigging in 2013 general elections, Shah Mehmood Qureshi hails the role of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for the establishment of an investigating body.
He also appreciated the recent statement of Asif Ali Zardari, the Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) who said that the criminal and corrupt elements must be thrown out of the Party, referring to them as rotten eggs.
