KARACHI: Leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a meeting on Wednesday to design a code of conduct for the nearing by-elections in Azizabad, Aaj News reported.
DIG West Feroz Shah issued a statement in which leaders of the two parties are invited to attend the meeting; Feroz Shah added that the police and local administration will try to avoid any unpleasant incident like the one which occurred in Jinnah Ground.
Imran Ismail was paying a visit to Jinnah Ground to review the preparations for their upcoming April 19 rally. MQM supporters accused them for shredding posters of Altaf Hussain. MQM workers were then alleged of destroying the vehicles of PTI leaders. Both MQM and PTI launched FIR’s against each other.
