ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country.
The weather would remain hot and dry in most parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24 hours.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Sialkot (city 43, Airport 31), Faisalabad 39, Sargodha 21, Gujranwala, Gujrat 18, Saidu Sharif 17, Balakot, Kotli 13, Sahiwal 11, Mangla, Rawalakot 08, Lower Dir, Muzaffarabad 06, Jhang, Jhelum, Malamjabba, Toba Tek Singh 03, Kakul, Murree 02, Rawalpindi, Okara, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kasur and Kohat 01 mm.
The hottest places during the last 24 hours was Lasbella,Turbat, Mithi 39 C, Chhor 38 C and Badin 37 C.
The pollen count recorded today was 1,962 per meter cubic of air.
