KARACHI: Sindh government on Thursday announced the increase in Salaries of Sindh police to match the level of Punjab Police, Aaj News reported.
Ghulam Haider Jamali, Inspector General Police Sindh (IGP) announced that the police funds have been raised, raining from Rs 2,000 to Rs 7,000. This now matches with the salaries of Punjab police.
According to the new pay scale, the salaries of constables will now increase by Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 while the head-constables will see an increase of Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000. Sub-inspectors and Inspectors will be able to get a raise of Rs 5,000 to 7,000.
