Khulna: After winning the toss Bangladesh elected to bat first, they were 60 for one at lunch on the opening day of the first test against Pakistan on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.
Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes started the innings, the pair looked unbeaten when they added 52 runs to the score.
Yasir Shah broke the partnership by taking the wicket of Tamim Iqbal.
Bangladesh were 60 for 1 at lunch.
Bangladesh handed Test debuts to Soumya Sarkar and fast bowler Mohammad Shahid, while Pakistan picked uncapped Sami Aslam for the opening match of the two-Test series.
