ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) continued to observe 6-8 hours power load-shedding in urban and rural areas in its all five circles including twin cities.
Official sources said that as per the directives of government, 6-8 hour power load management was being carried out in the whole region.
They said that efforts were also being made to maintain the situation through efficient transmission mechanism.
Meanwhile the IESCO issued power suspension schedule for various areas of tis region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to IESCO Spokesman, the power supply of the following Grids/Feeders would remain suspended as under: On 17 April From 09:00am to 01:00pm, From F.Jang Grid Bahter feeder,On 19 April From 07:00am to 03:00pm, From Jand Grid Parri, Pind Sultani, Nara, Jand City feeders, 20 April From 09:00am to 12:00noon, Munara, Karyala, Mulhal Mughlan, Jand Awan, Raman, Gaggan, Main Bazar, Jhatla, D.S.Bilawal, Tamman, Neela feeders, From 09:00am to 01:00pm, Sang Jani, Munir Abad, Sirka, Bolianwal feeders,
From 09:00am to 02:00pm, 4th Road, Muslim Town, Jinnah Camp, Z.Haq Road, K.S.Syed, Car Chowk, NPF-II, Bank Road-II, Scheme-III, Sowan, Jhangi, EME Complex, CWO feeders, On 18 and 20 April From 09:00am to 02:00pm, From Jhelum Grid Sana Ullah Shaheed feeder and surrounding areas.
