AUCKLAND: Specialist wicket-keeper batsmen Pakistan team Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he never had any argument with Cricket Pakistan Coach Waqar Younis and actually he considered him as his elder brother.
Sarfaraz Ahmed has cleared all misinterpretation regarding Pakistan cricket coach Waqar’s press conference on Saturday.
In a statement, Sarfaraz Ahmed said that if Coach Waqar vocalized anything to me, I would never reply back to him in injudicious manner.
Team Pakistan’s moment was now being built up; therefore no one should try and create any disputes to spoil the excelling team performance, he added.
Post press conference of the Pakistan – South Africa Pool B match on 7 Saturday, Waqar Younis ended the question-answer session when he was asked that the decision to dropped Sarfaraz in previous matches was anyway due to a rumored argument between Sarfaraz and himself.
Waqar Younis concluded the press conference by saying that he didn’t have time for “stupid-questions”.
Sarfaraz Ahmed finally answered to all questions which have been raised by the management, coach, captain, and by the selectors that the condition of Australian and NewZealand’s bouncy pitches are not suitable for him, but Sarfaraz has showed and proved that he can bat not only at number 7 but can also open the innings in a good way.
