PM Nawaz to meet MQM’s delegation today

ISLAMABAD: PM Nawaz will be in talks with the Members of MQM today on Friday to hear their reservation over Karachi Operation, Aaj news reported.

MQM requested the meeting when PM was on Karachi’s visit but due to the shortage of time, the PM was unable to fulfill their request. The PM has finally agreed to a meeting, sources told.

The leaders representing MQM will be Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Dr Farooq Sattar, Rasheed Godil and Senator barrister Saif.

MQM has shown their distrust on numbers of occasion regarding the ongoing Karachi operation.

According to the reports, at least a heap of MQM workers were arrested from the party headquarters during the raid conducted by Rangers.
Later that week Rangers official filed a case against Altaf Hussain for posing a threat to the Rangers.

It is pertinent to mention here that Saulat Mirza, allegedly a former MQM worker and death row inmate, also opened a Pandora box full of serious allegations in a video confession against the Party Chief and other party leaders.

This confession video was made just before his death, later his execution was postponed by the President.
