The Stage is set for the Cricket World Cup final between the two top class sides Australia and New Zealand. In order to win they will have to give their all in on Sunday at MCG, Australia. Both teams need no error to become world champion.
It will be the 2nd World Cup Final in Melbourne; the first Final was played in 1992 where Pakistan beat England and become the World Champions. Similarly, at this time New Zealand is making its first appearance in World Cup final and is focused to encounter the big guns Kangaroos which is not going to be an easy task, they have to play steady cricket, predominantly the unbeaten NZ team’s skipper Brendon McCullum is at the peak of his game.
He has been a fantastic entertainer throughout the tournament with his bat, he opened the innings with his power full hitting and made New Zealand met with easy wins.
He has played all group matches and helped his team to clear the knockout stages, quarter and semi finals against the West Indies and the top bowling side South Africa. Both the openers Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum are at their careers best form, a best time as the final stage is next. Now it’s time to be patient and play steady, as a captain, Brendon McCullum has to take the responsibility in Final match because the top side Aussies with the likes of Warner, Maxwell, Starck and Steve Smith will definitely have some plan up their sleeves to counter McCullum first, so the Kiwi opening pair has to play according to the situation.
The most favorite to win World Cup is the Melbourne host, Australia who has already beaten two Asian teams in their knockout matches India and Pakistan which boosted their confidence back at the right time before the final. Michael Clark and his XI are very confident to beat Kiwis in the final battle.
