ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Ramana police has arrested four dacoits including two Afghan nationals involved in snatching mobile phones at gun point from sector G-10/ and recovered 22 mobile phones and digital equipment from them, a police spokesman said.
Ramana police team launched special crackdown against those involved in snatching valuables at gun point. This team succeeded to nab four persons inovlved in various dacoities.
They have been identified as Usman s/o Faryad Hussain,Zubair s/o Shabbir and Gandal Khan and Shahzad Khan residents of Afghanistan. Police team recovered 22 mobile phones, laptops, CCTV cameras, snatched cash and valuables and weapons from their possession. Further investigation is also underway from them.
IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated this prompt action of the Ramana police team and announced cash prizes as well as commendation certificates for all its members.
