The host New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. Martin Guptill thrashed 237 runs off 163 balls with overall 11 sixes and 24 fours that helped New Zealand to score 393/6.
He is the 2nd batsman in the World Cup 2015 campaign to score double century in an inning.
