Australia on the top of the world for the 5th time

As two cricket Giants collided today at the MCG in Australia only one proved to be the supreme. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first but they were unable to pose a threatening total as their wickets keep falling only Elliot was able to score 83 runs they were all out in 45 over scoring only 183 runs.

Australia took a bump in the start when its 2 wickets were fallen but after that Smith and Clark took the team near to the victory by adding 112 runs. Australia who already holds the records of most world cup wins has now cemented its legacy by winning the title for the 5th time.

Faulkner was named man of the match for his 3 crucial wickets. Starc was named man of the series for his 22 wickets. This was the only defeat for the New Zealanders as they were unbeaten in the whole tournament.
