Anti-encroachment drive to continue: Sharjeel Memon


KARACHI:  Sindh Minister for Local Government Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that anti-encroachemt campaign will be continued till removal of illegal occupation from state land and public places in the city and other areas of the province.

Talking to the people in Korangi Area, he said that we have started “Jehad” against the social evils in our society.

He said police and rangers  are taking action against the criminals and Local Government has started a campaign against the encroachments and  land grabbing.

He said that action is also being taken against ghost employees in the Local Government

departments.

The municipal team under the supervision of Sharjeel Memon demolished more than a dozen illegally built  wedding halls on green belt and public places in Korangi.

On the pointation of the people, a fake mineral water factory was also demolished on the instruction of the Minister.

Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and Municipal officers were present on the occasion.
