KARACHI : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organized 9th edition of Expo Pakistan-2015 from February 26 to March 01, 2015 at Expo Center Karachi.
TDAP statement here on Wednesday said that in Expo Pakistan 2015, many renowned brands have confirmed their location.
Almost 92 percent space has been reserved in all six halls.
Some key brands participating include Pakistan Software Export Board- Services, Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA). Matco Rice, Season Food, Garibsons (Pvt) Ltd., Bake Parlor, Fashion Pakistan Council, Al-Karam, Shabir Textile, Bonanza Garments, Al-Hamra fabricsm, S.M.Denimn, Pak Denimo. Siddiqsons and Ahsan Exports.
Most of the Associations have reserved the bare space in bulk in different halls of Expo like Pakistan Software Export Board, Sindh Board of Investment, Pakistan Carpet Manufacturer Exporter Association, All Pakistan Fruits and Vegetable Association.
Engineering Development Board, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan, Fashion Pakistan Council, All Pakistan Gems Merchant and Jewelers Association, Pakistan Sports Goods Association, Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers Association, Towel Manufacturers Association, All Pakistan Bed Sheets Manufacturers and Exporters.
Four hundred and thirty two exhibitors have reserved the space in the said fair from textile, agro-food, engineering, home decoration, handicrafts, chemicals, leather, surgical,sports goods, services, minerals and metals, gems and jewelry, footwear, pharmaceutical, ready made garments/hosiery etc.
Apart from the domestic marketing, the international marketing is also in process and at about 1300 buyers have registered themselves for attending the Expo Pakistan 2015 from 63 countries, from which TDAP has provided the hospitality/confirmation to about 800 buyers so far.
The foreign delegates scheduled to visit are : 40 from Vietnam, 50 from Japan, 28 from China, 19 from Germany, 54 from Malaysia, 46 from Holland, 10 from Russia, 30 from United States of America, 31 from Australia, 30 from South Korea, 29 from India, 17 from Thailand, 37 from Brazil, 30 from South Korea, 29 from India, 17 Thailand, 37 from Brazil, 37 from Hong Kong,33 from Iran, 60 from Saudi Arabia, 29 from Indonesia,
