PESHAWAR: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Friday put security on high alter across the province in the wake of terrorists attack on a mosque in Peshawar.
The security on entry of exists points of all major cities of the province were beefed up and security forces asked to check each and every vehicles while keeping an eye on suspicion persons, police officials said.
The police deployment around sensitive and vulnerable places has also been increased to foil nefarious designs of the terrorists.
Meanwhile, In-charge Bomb Disposable Unit (BDU) Shafqat Malik told media that each suicide bomber was carrying four to five kg explosive material when they exploded themselves in the mosque, adding that one suicidal jacket of a suicide bomber, who was killed by security staff, was defused by BDU.
He further informed that four hand-grenades were also found within the mosque and defused by the BDU officials.
