PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have decided to transform reporting rooms of urban police stations into Modern FIR Rooms to facilitate the public in redressing their grievances.
The decision was taken by IGP KP Nasir Khan Durrani in the recently held District Police Officers (DPOs) Conference, said a press release of KP police.
The old Reporting Rooms in police station would be converted into modern reporting rooms which would provide friendly ambiance to the aggrieved and deal with the public in a professional manner, it added.
These Reporting Rooms would start working initially in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat, Kohat, Chitral and Buner districts.
The IGP said the Reporting Rooms would be built on modern corporate style offices providing professional atmosphere to the public.
