SUKKUR: PTI Chief Imran Khan on Thursday visited the Imambargah at Shikarpur and offered his condolences to the Shuhada Committee and relatives of those who had embraced martyrdom while offering Friday prayers in the mosque.
Later, addressing press conference, Imran called for conducting the Senate polls through open ballot adding that his party`s lawmakers stood with their party and were setting new traditions.
He stressed that armed groups of political parties must be disbanded and nobody should be allowed to carry arms.
To a question, Imran Khan said all kinds of terrorism cases must go to military courts.
He said that the 2012 Baldia Town incident was a national tragedy and must be investigated.
PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Nadir Akmal Laghari and others were also present on the occasion.
