(Karachi Staff Reporter) Former federal interior minister and Senator Rehman Malik has said that there has been conspiracies to weaken Pakistan. Pakistan has been suffering due to Afghanistan and Afghanistan has become unreliable neighbor for Pakistan.
In a Showcase Ceremony of a Ten-day Electronic Media Training course on ‘Sufism, Peace & Democracy’ organized by Women Media Center Pakistan, at a local hotel, Senator Rehman Malik said that the murderers of more than 142 innocent children of Pakistan has been given protection in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is giving refugee to the brutal murderers but tomorrow it may become the victim. Someone wants to initiate the cold war once again then the lend of Pakistan and Afghanistan must not be used against.
He further said that the US President Obama visited India he should have also visited Pakistan to sympathize the martyrs of Peshawar attack. Either President Obama is afraid of Prime Minister Modi or Prime Minister Modi is afraid of President Obama? He added that the five accused of Peshawar attack have still been in Afghanistan.
Rehman Malik said Pakistan should not have been used against Russia. At that time there were only three hundred Madarssas in Pakistan whereas the number of Madarsass has now reached to sixty five thousand. Terrorism has become more like a business now. American officers bribed Taliban at the border of Afghanistan to deliver their containers to Afghanistan. In an answer to a question from the media he mentioned that he is not the candidate for chairmanship in Senate.
He further said that Politicians are being vilified nowadays. Pakistan People’s Party is not bribing in Senate Elections, he added. Before this, the Executive Director of Women Media Center Pakistan, Fauzia Shaheen said that the democracy has not been flourished due to terrorism. On one side people of Pakistan feel insecure and on the other hand the corruption in public institutions has been penetrated in the grass root level.
There should be an end of gender inequality with women, she demanded. At the end of the showcase ceremony, the chief guest Senator Rehman Malik distributed certificates to the participants and appreciated the efforts made by Women Media Center Pakistan.
