PESHAWAR: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has announced Martyr Package for the affectees of the Imamia Masjid suicide explosions at Phase-V, Hayatabad and directed the completion of the formalities for the purpose of the payment of compensation to the heirs of all martyred and injured in next few days.
The chief minister also directed full concentration on the treatment of the under treatment injured in all three major hospitals of the metropolis and made it clear that till complete recovery of each injured, their treatment should be continued under the supervision of a high level medical teams and no negligence should be shown in this regard.
Strongly condemning the gruesome incident of terrorism, he said that no religion or moralities in the world allow the targeting of the innocent worshipers, rather he said it is insult of the humanity at all aspects.
He admitted that the preventing of suicide attack is not only difficult, rather impossible.
However, he said that there is no ambiguity that for reaching to the roots of the elements patronizing terrorism and eradication of the terrorism the provincial government will utilize all resources and means.
The chief minister appreciated the bold role of the worshipers for foiling a suicide attack inside the mosque and clarified that the people of the province are brave and the cowardice acts of terrorism will not demoralize their resolve.
He said that they will take rest after the complete eradication of terrorism and establishment of the environment of peace and security.
He expressed the hope that federal government in light of the decisions taken in the All Parties Conference (APC) will guarantee the implementation of National Action Plan on emergency basis and for effective combating of terrorism, it will ensure special and immediate redressal of the difficulties faced by the provincial government in this regard.
