LAHORE: As many as six people were killed and several others got injured in a blast near Police Lines in Qila Gujar Singh area of Lahore on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.

Security officials and rescue teams have reached the site of the explosion and the injured are being shifted to a hospital.
Due to the explosion, the windows of nearby buildings broke and the cars parked outside reportedly caught fire.
Initial details claimed that a suicide bomber came to a hotel outside the Police Lines and blew himself up.
Nature of blast is yet to be ascertained.
