PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (Wali) will participate in the local government elections to be held in the province in May this year, said a party spokesman here on Monday.
According to a statement issued here, Central Secretary Information ANP-Wali Malik Riaz Bangash has said that party workers had started preparations for the LB-polls adding that the party will show its strength in the province.
He said that Begum Nasim Wali Khan has desired to gain power in this age. He said that Begum Wali formed party to safeguard Bacha Khan’s philosophy of non violence and tolerance.
He said that ANP-Wali is the real party based on philosophy of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan.
In local government election Pakhtoons will prove that they knew the real face of the so called nationalists, and they will reject them in election.
