PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has disbursed Rs 348.304 million among 54,245 temporarily displaced families of North Waziristan Agency under the second phase of Esaar e Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Programme.
According to PDMA, the Phase-II of Easar e Pakhtunkhwa programme launched in November 24 last year, is successful underway to provide financial relief to the temporarily displaced people of North Waziristan Agency.
As many as 54,245 registered families migrated to settle areas from North Waziristan Agency, had received Rs 348.304 million till December 29, 2014.
Out of these beneficiaries, as many as 195.574 million rupees among 30607 TDPs in Bannu, Rs 11,694,000 among 1809 TDPs in Karak, Rs 24,607,500 rupees among 3677 TDPs in DI Khan, 24,691,000 rupees among 3831 TDPs and 13, 327,000 rupees among 2173 TDPs through ATM were disbursed.
In the first phase of Esaar e Pakhtunkhwa Programme, as many as Rs 449.186million have been disbursed among 57706 TDPs of North Waziristan Agency.
Under the phase-I Esaar-e-Pakhtunkhwa Programme, 57,706 families or North Waziristan have received their cash payment of 1st Installment at the rate of Rs 8000 successfully and Rs 449.18 million have been so far disbursed.
All the registered verified families would be provided with Rs 23,000 including Ramadan Package Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 monthly house rent.
