ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador Asif Durrani met Minister Advisor for Health United Arab Emirates Dr. Salem Abdul Rahman Al Darmaki in Dubai on Tuesday and discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of health.
Ambassador Durrani thanked the UAE leadership for their generous contributions in the field of health, education and infrastructure development in Pakistan, said a message received here.
He apprised the Minister Advisor of Pakistan government’s measures to improve the health care in the country.
He also discussed more opportunities for employment of doctors and paramedical staff from Pakistan.
Dr.Yousif Mohammad Al-Serkal, Assistant U-Secretary for Hospital Sector, Awadh Seghayer Alketbi, Assistant U-Secretary for Institutional and Support Services of the Health Ministry of UAE, Dr. Faisal Aziz, Deputy Head of Mission, Muhammad Abdul Wahid Khan,Press Counsellor also attended the meeting.
Subsequently, Ambassador Durrani also visited stalls of Pakistani companies set up at Arab Health Exhibition 2015.
Thirty five leading Pakistani companies are participating in the Arab Health Exhibition being held from January 26 to 29.
These companies have showcased Pakistani products mix which include Surgical and Dental instruments, Hospital furniture, gowns, bedsheets, pillows, blankets, uniform, all kinds of bandages, IV Infusion, X-Ray, Ophthalmology and Diagnostic Instruments, Eye surgery manufacturing, assorted Scissors and Forceps, Sterile Single Use Instruments, Mobile health applications and Dialysis Solutions
