LAHORE: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif announced that per liter price of petroleum has been dropped by Rs 7.99, with the new price at Rs 70.29 per liter now.
The current price of petrol is 78.28.
In a press conference, Nawaz Sharif said that petrol prices are being reduced by Rs 7.99 per liter, HBOC Rs11.82 per liter, kerosene oil Rs10.48, light diesel oil Rs9.56 and high diesel oil by Rs5.62 per liter.
The High octane Blending Component (HOBC) per liter has dropped down from 92 to Rs80.18.
He further added, the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD), which is generally used in heavy vehicles and the agriculture sector, has been cut down by Rs5.62 per liter carrying its price down Rs80.61 from Rs86.23 to per liter.
The price of Kerosene oil has been came down to Rs61.44 per liter from Rs71.92 per liter.
