ISLAMABAD: Pakistani teenage campaigner and Nobel Prize- winning Malala Yousafzai has been named on a list of the 500 most influential people in Britain.
The annual Debrett’s 500 list covers 24 categories across society ncluding sports, journalism, politics, advertising, architecture, food and education, The Mirror reported on Monday.
The annual Debrett’s 500 extends recognition of the most influential, inspiring and achieving individuals across Britain.
The 17-year-old, Malala, the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize, is also the youngest in the Debrett’s rankings.
Rehabilitated in the United Kingdom after she was shot in the head by the militants, the student and activist has become a global icon in the fight for education.
