ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali Friday said government is taking serious steps to end the menace of terrorism from the country.
Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, he said the morale of state institutions is high in the war against terror.
He said political parties threatening for holding demonstrations should support the government and understand the challenges being faced by the country.
To a query, he said the Chinese President would visit Pakistan in March, saying his visit was canceled earlier due to sit-in and demonstrations by political parties.
He said China is going to invest multi-billion dollars in the energy sector, saying the economic coordination with China would help boost the country’s economy.
To another query, Abid said the Prime Minister has taken notice of petrol shortage in the country and the issue would be resolved soon.
