ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudry Nisar Ali Khan said that civil and military leadership was on the same page to defeat terrorism in the country.
Talking to media after inauguration of bus service between Taxila and Rawalpindi, he said that the main issue of the country was terrorism and it could only be eliminated through support of public.
He appreciated role of security forces and police in fighting terrorism.
“Enemies inside the country are among us, therefore active involvement of people was necessary to support security forces in identification of criminal elements,” he said.
He also appreciated media for blacking-out terrorists’ coverage. Earlier he said that a girl school would be constructed and named after Principal Tahira Qazi, who embraced martyrdom in terrorist attack on Army Public School in Peshawar.
He said that the boy’s school will be named after Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) chairman on his retirement.
