PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakthunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan said Friday that the tragedy of Army Public School has united the entire nation against menace of terrorism.
The martyrdom of students of Army Public School was an extra ordinary incident of our national history, which has moved the entire nation, he said. The fact that the whole nation has united against the perpetrators, symbolizes its heart felt feelings of grief and sorrows for the near and dear ones of the martyrs and its commitment in the war against terrorism which also is a tribute to the martyrs.
He was talking to a delegation of Shuhada Ghazi Forum ; a representative body of the parents of students of the institution who called on him at Governor House, Peshawar on Friday.
“Beyond doubt there can never be any substitute to our innocent martyrs; we have accepted this reality as a will of Almighty Allah. We feel hurt because of the tragic incident but our earnest desire is that the entire nation should realize the gravity of the challenging circumstances, with which our beloved country is passing through presently and further strengthen its unity to wipe out terrorism which in itself will be a great source of encouragement to us and a tribute to the martyrs,” said Abid Raza Bangash, President of the Forum while conveying their feelings to the Governor on this occasion.
