PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak Saturday said that the provincial government would pay for all expenses on the treatment of Ahmad Nawaz, a 10th class student of Army Public School (APS).
Ahmed was injured in a terrorist attack and was under treatment at the Cardiothoracic Department of the Lady Reading Hospital. In a statement issued here, the chief minister said that if even he was sent abroad for treatment, the government would pay for all the charges.
The chief minister said that the provincial government had already issued directives to hospitals for provision of the best medical facilities to all the injured of the Army Public School and they were being given best medical treatment.
Pervez said that APS tragedy was a national tragedy and all the political and religious-political parties had condemned it unanimously.
He said that the provincial government shared the grief of the relatives of the APS tragedy and they should not consider themselves alone.The whole nation prayed for them.
He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go waste.
