QUETTA: At least one person killed and wounded thirteen others, including two school children as a result of bomb blast in Quetta, officials said.
According to the reports, the blast on the outskirts of Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province, came during the morning rush hour.
“A man riding a bicycle was killed in the explosion on the Sirki road, as eight others including two school children aged 10-12 years, were injured in the incident,” Akbar Hussain Durrani, the home secretary of the province told.
Hospital sources told that one of the injured children is said to be in critical condition, hospital sources told.
“The school van these children were boarding also damaged.
Nobody immediately claimed responsibility of the blast.
