ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Friday asked Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf to ensure conducive environment for starting dialogue process with the government.
Talking to a private television channel, he said that Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had given call to shutdown different cities of the country.
He said that dialogue and protest demonstrations could not go side by side.
Information Minister said that there is need to bring the temperature down for holding dialogue with the government.
Pervaiz Rashid said that PTI chief Imran Khan had abolished the talks process with the government while standing on the container.
He said: “We want dialogue in a better environment.”
Replying to a question he said: “Both the sides are in touch for starting dialogue to resolve issues.”
In a separate statement, the Information Minister said it is waste of time to respond to cheap talk of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
The minister said after introduction of LNG in Pakistan, the container politics will end.
He said Imran Khan is once again crying after seeing support of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from all sides.
Objection on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is in fact admittance of his ability, he added.
