ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (APP): The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has said that the sham elections in Indian Held territory are aimed at hoodwinking the international community about the Kashmir dispute and suppressing the ongoing liberation movement.
According to KMS, the JKLF leaders addressing a peaceful anti-election sit-in and rally at Lal Chowk in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris had nourished their liberation movement with their blood and it could not be defeated by such cheap tactics.
Led by the JKLF Vice Chairman, Mushtaq Ajmal, the participants on the occasion raised slogans in favour of freedom and martyrs.
Delivering the message of illegally detained party Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, the leaders asked the people to recognize friends and foes and stay away from the sham polls and boycott all those people who were hell bent upon weakening the sacred struggle of Kashmiri martyrs.
Meanwhile, the JKLF leaders and activists carried out their election boycott campaign in various areas of Islamabad, Baramulla, Pulwama and Shopian districts, apprising the people about the negative effects of casting vote on the ongoing liberation struggle.
