FAISALABAD: Samanabad police have registered a case against PTI Chief Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Asad Umar, MNA Dr. Arif Alvi and others on the charge of creating terror, firing riots and attacks.
Former provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan had lodged a written complaint in the Samanabad police against Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Asad Umar, MNA Dr. Arif Alvi central leader of PTI and its leaders Mian Farrukh Habib president Insaf Students Federation Pakistan, Mian Waris, Sahahbud Din Ansari, Anwar Ramay, Sheikh Shahid Javaid, Javaid Niaz Manj, Owaiz, Rasim Yaqoob, Younus Jatt, Younus Kamboh, Munawwar Manj, Mian Hajji Riaz and 500 others on charge of creating terror, firing, riots, attack and other charges.
Rana Sana Ullah in his complaint alleged that Tehreek Insaf gave a call of wheel jam for creating anarchy, political turmoil, instability, the progress of the country under the agenda of riots and violence.
“Before leaving for Faisalabad from Islamabad on December 8, Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed and Asad Umar announced that after reaching at his (Rana Sanaullah’s) residence at Faisalabad, they will besiege his house and attack thereon,” Rana alleged.
“They also provoked their workers to attack on his house and similarly, MNA Arif Alvi through a press conference ordered the PTI workers to attack his house,” Sana Ullah alleged in his complaint.
“By pursuing provocative orders about 400 to 500 PTI workers led by Shahabud Din Ansari, Anwar Ramay, Aamir Jatt, Munawar Manj, Javaid Niaz Manj, Sheikh Shahid Javaid, Taufail Ansari, Younus Kamboh, Mian Hajji Riaz, Owais, Rasim Yaqoob, Younus Jatt, Mian Farrukh Habib, Mian Waris, Mian Ateeq and others with the intention of ‘Ghirao Jalao’, stormed at my house. However, they could not succeed in their ulterior motives due to the presence of the PML-N workers and police,” Sanaullah alleged.
“The accused, mentioned above by attacking at my house and indulging in Ghirao Jalao, have committed a crime. Therefore, a case be registered in accordance with the law against them,” Rana Sana Ullah demanded in his complaint.
Samanabad police SHO Muhammad Khalid told that one the written complaint of Rana Sanaullah, a case under section 7 of Anti Terrorism Act (ATA), 324, 341, 148, 149 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) has been registered as per contents of the complaint.
The arrest of the accused would be made by the investigation officer on the basis of evidences and collaborative statements of the complaint, SHO added.
