KARACHI: Karachi received it first drizzle spell of current winter on Tuesday morning turning its roads extremely slippery and a constant risk for the motor-cyclists.
The drizzle brought the temperature to around 18 degree centigrade, coupled with surging hops among citizens for more rains.
Met department officials, however, dismissed any chance of proper showers during next 24 hours in the metropolis mentioning that weather otherwise would remain cloudy.
Talking to APP they said day temperature would relatively remain on a dipper side even in day hours with nights getting steadily cooler.
“The season would largely remain pleasant offering Karachiites a chance to enjoy mild winters with little bite and almost no harshness,” said the official.
The emergency and accident department at Civil Hospital, Karachi received almost 20 cases of roads injuries, during the first half of the day, mainly motorcyclists – a few of whom also had fractures.
