KHYBER AGENCY: At least 18 militants belonging to a banned outfit were killed when the Pakistan armed forces clashed with the militants in Khyber Agency.
According to reports, the security forces launched operation in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency during which several militant hideouts were destroyed and 18 militants were also killed. Official sources said that an Uzbek militant commander Islamuddin was also killed in the attacks.
The dead bodies of the killed terrorists were shifted to Levies Centre, Jamrud. The militants belonged to banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Islam, sources added.
On Thursday, security forces had killed 12 militants during clashes in Tehsil Jamrud and their bodies were also shifted to Jamrud Hospital.
