KARACHI: At least seven people including two members of Sindh Assembly were injured when some miscreants hurdled a hand grenade at the membership camp of MQM here on Friday.
The MQM membership camp was attacked in Orangi Town in which seven people sustained minor injuries. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the area police said.
The party sources said that two MPAs of Muttahidi Quami Movement (MQM) including Muhammad Hussain and Shaikh Abdullah were also injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has condemned the attack on the MQM camp and called for report about the incident from Inspector General of Police.
He also directed the police to ensure the arrest the culprits involved in the attack.
