PPP leaders satisfied on Sindh govt relief efforts in Thar

KARACHI : Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) members of National Assembly (MNA) Nawab Yousuf Talpur, Mir Munawwar Talpur, Ejaz Jakhrani, Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani Monday expressed satisfaction on Sindh Government’s efforts in Tharparkar.

In a statement issued from the Bilawal House here, they alleged that a deliberate move was being launched against people’s elected government.

Certain sections have focused on Tharparkar with unnecessary magnification.

PPP is a pro-masses political party which has deep roots among the masses across the country.

It has been facing such trials but emerged as more popular political party of the country.

This time as well, they continued, the party would soon succeed in foiling the conspiracies being hatched against it.

The senior PPP leaders said Sindh Government had so far spent billions of rupees on the relief and rehabilitation of the inhabitants of Tharparkar and dispensed 50,000 wheat bags among them in past eight months.

The basic health units were working properly at all union councils of the district.
