ISLAMABAD: Mobilink has established an ICT lab at Faisalabad Press Club to provide institutionalized learning opportunities and extending support for capacity building of media persons.
The lab has been set up under Press Club Development initiative of the Company which also upgraded press clubs at Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore by adding a number of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, improving infrastructure and providing access to the latest IT equipment.
The Faisalabad Press Club ICT lab has been equipped with state-of-the-art computers along with printing and scanning facilities.
The lab is also equipped with the latest computers and an auxiliary facility for digital printing and scanning with wireless connectivity.
In his comments here on Wednesday, Head of Corporate Communication, Mobilink, Omar Manzur said regional press clubs form the backbone of media and public relations. Mobilink has always worked towards strengthening the roles of Press Clubs and providing these press clubs with facilities to help the media fraternity.
He said the provision of this facility is a testament of our commitment towards providing institutionalized learning opportunities and extending support for capacity building to our media partners across Pakistan.
“We hope that these facilities will continue to add value in the way journalists benefit from the press clubs to perform their jobs for many years to come,” he added.
