KARACHI: Seven out of 33 girls have been handed over to their parents, they recovered from a house in Liaquatabad area on Tuesday night, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, the search for the family of other 26 girls was underway. Police and provincial administration said they are investigating the matter from different angles.
Legal action would be taken against Hameeda if she was found guilty, police said.
Meanwhile, Secretary Law and Order FATA Shakeel Qadir has said the parents of eight girls were present in Karachi while the remaining girls families are in Bajaur. They had yet to contact him, he said.
The girls belonging to Bajaur Agency were shifted to a seminary to settle a monetary dispute.
