Sunil Narine withdrawn from India-West Indies ODI series

ISLAMABAD: West Indian mystery spinner Sunil Narine, who  was called for a suspect action during the ongoing Champions League T20 (CLT20) 2014, has been sent home by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), and will not be a part of the One-Day International (ODI) series against India.

The off-spinner, who will not even be a part of the CLT20 2014 final between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) scheduled to be held later in the day, could be the latest casualty in the ICC’s recent crackdown on spinners with suspect actions, should be he be called during an international match.

Since he was pulled up during a non-international match, he still has a chance to work on his action without being banned from the game.
