Six injured in Quetta blast

QUETTA: At least six persons including a child were injured in an explosion at Spini Road area of Provincial capital on Saturday.

According to police, unknown men had planted an explosive device in a vehicle carrying fruit and it was parked near cattle market.

The blast occurred when the vehicle Pashtoonabad’s deputy superintendent of police was crossing the area.

As a result, six persons including a child received injuries. DSP fortunately remained safe in the incident. The injured were rushed to Bolan Medical Complex hospital (BMC) for medical aid.

Local administration reached the site and cordoned off the entire area.
