Sindh govt to launch project to produce 672 MW power from garbage

ISLAMABAD: The Sindh government will launch a project to 672 megawatt (MW) electricity daily from 2,000 tons garbage collected in Karachi.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, an official of the Power Department said the feasibility report of the project had been prepared and it would be completed within 30 months.

The project is a joint venture of Sindh Government and US-based Princeton Environment Group.
